This site is a simple European mirror and development area for Neil MacKinnon's web site devoted to Ry Cooder and his music. For further information see Neil's site at:

The contents of Neil's and this site will often be different. Being a development area, this site may be more up to date, whereas more visual impact will be added later within Neil's site. Please bear in mind that the intended final destination may result in strange behaviour of pages on this site. That is:

• The appearance and backgrounds are incomplete. When added to Neil's site the pages will gain additional HTML parameters that refine the appearance.
• A few hyperlinks may not work between pages as they are attempting to link to pages that exist on Neil's site but not here. In case of error, please use your browser's Back button to return from any selected page.

Navigation may be achieved via the simple menu to the left. The main contents are as follows:

• Discography is the complete Ry Cooder discography. Note that details of Ry's singles will be uploaded "Real Soon Now"
• Projects are still in development, this site being used to enable discussion and contribution from the members of the Ry Cooder mailing list. For further details on joining the mailing list see Neil's site as above.
• Box Set was a project in August 1999 to identify possible material for a 4-CD box set being considered by Warner UK. The outcome is as yet unknown.
• Listening is a current project to document what Ry has said he likes to listen to himself.
• Buying is an attempt to assemble advice from Rylanders (that is, members of the mailing list) with regard where to buy rare Ry material, and his recommendations.
• Links take you to related sites that you may find interesting.
