Update from Sandy Macdiarmid: You might like to know that The Textones' "Midnight Mission" album was reissued on Andrew Lauder's Acadia label in 2001 (ACA 8016). Of particular interest to Rylanders is the fact that the two Cooder tracks have been remixed in 2001 to offer "..some heretofore unheard Ry Cooder slide guitar tracks..." (to quote from the booklet notes). These appear as bonus tracks, and sound good to these ears.
