This was late afternoon on a very long day, after climbing every step at Warwick Castle, some several times. The experience had turned Gary quite grey, and he still had to walk around Stratford!

Wives Margaret and Deb prove that they too have the bottle to hold the masks in public....

Gary and Deb just have the bottles! Casualties at the end of a long day, at the Bear Inn, Berkeswell, near Coventry.

I guess we were fortunate that, despite the glorious sunny day, Summer was over in the UK so the barbecue in the pub garden was not in use. Else we would have had a comparison of UK and US barbecues!

Strange as it may seem, Dave and Jerry owe their meeting to Gary. Though we live no more than 10 miles apart, it took Gary to bring us together from a distance of some 8,000 miles. He worked out that from our respective jobs it was extraordinary if we did not know each other. He was right.... we had met professionally a couple of years earlier but had not realised this on the list.
